How was my first Hike
My Confidence and hurdles for my first hike

My First Hike in Germany 🇩🇪🥾
There’s something special about your first hike in a new country. For me, it was more than just a walk through the mountains — it was the beginning of discovering Germany one trail at a time.
A New Beginning
Moving to Germany opened up a completely different world of landscapes and outdoor experiences. Coming from India, I was used to a very different kind of scenery, but the German Alps immediately caught my attention.
The idea of walking through quiet forests, green meadows, and mountain trails felt almost unreal.
So, I decided to lace up my hiking shoes and go on my first hike in Germany.
The Trail
The trail took me through a beautiful mix of forest paths, open meadows, and mountain views. The further I walked, the quieter everything became.
There were moments when I stopped simply to take in the surroundings.
> Sometimes the best part of a hike is not reaching the destination, but slowing down enough to notice everything along the way.
The fresh mountain air, the sound of the wind through the trees, and the occasional glimpse of distant peaks made the experience unforgettable.
The View
After walking for a while, the landscape began to open up.
The mountains stretched across the horizon, with valleys and forests far below. It was one of those moments where you automatically reach for your camera — but even a photograph doesn't quite capture what it feels like to actually stand there.
This was the moment I realized that hiking could become something I truly enjoy.
What I Learned
My first hike taught me a few simple things:
- You don't need to be an experienced hiker to start.
- Good hiking shoes make a huge difference.
- Always carry enough water and some snacks.
- Check the weather before heading out.
- And most importantly, **

take your time and enjoy the trail.**
More Trails to Come
That first hike was only the beginning.
Since then, I've started looking at Germany differently. Every mountain, forest, lake, and trail feels like another opportunity to explore.
There are still countless trails waiting to be discovered, and I'm looking forward to sharing those journeys here.
Until the next trail... 🏔️
One hike at a time. One view at a time. One memory at a time.
